ENTELA

Specialising in telecommunications for businesses and bodies in the Great East, Entela chose to integrate UCOPIA Communications solutions into its global range of digital building services. Anxious to provide the best solutions to its customers, the Entela company first of all deployed this range of services within its new premises, "it was critical for us to test these technology services before providing them to our customers. That is why we decided of deploy them upon relocating. Furthermore, it was also an opportunity for us to invite our customers to come and test these services thereby creating a true technological shop window", explains Anthony Charreau, Technical Director at ENTELA. "We were thus able to choose the most effective solutions, UCOPIA Communications solutions in particular that meet the needs of managing guest Internet access with complete ease and, in particular, in compliance with the law. Each guest to our premises is now given a personnel badge with his/her own Wi-Fi and Internet access for the duration of his/her visit. It is a courtesy that is greatly appreciated. "

RIP CURL EUROPE SAS

To allow its employees, its guests or its subcontractors to access the network via Wi-Fi, RIP CURL Europe SAS, a world leader in the world of surf, chose UCOPIA Communications to facilitate access to the company network or to the Internet network via Wi-Fi. "Amongst other things, we did have some financial concerns, and only UCOPIA was able to adapt to the hardware already installed, whereas with other solutions, we would have been obliged to modify all or part of our installation, and therefore have to incur new expenditure", emphasises Jean-Pierre Bordenave, Systems & Architecture Manager for Rip Curl. "At the same time, we were able to confirm how easy it was to use the UCOPIA solution: a captive portal used by reception for delegation can provide Internet access or access to any other service (SMTP, FTP, telnet,…) based upon the profiles defined for all new guests with complete security for the company network."
