Security adapted to businesses
UCOPIA allows you to define levels of security adapted to the different groups within businesses: employees, service providers, partners, customers… For each of these groups, the authentication mode can be customised as can access rights to applications/resources on the network.
Meeting the legal obligations
UCOPIA allows organisations to comply with the obligation in force in France and throughout Europe for hotels to retain connection data for a period of 12 months in France (decree 2006-358) and for between 6 and 24 months in Europe (directive 2006/24/CE).*
User-friendliness and ease of use
Internet access for all types of groups, without adding to the workload or the technical support constraints of the organisation.
Zero-configuration access, zero technical support for guests
Thanks to UCOPIA, guests can connect using their own PC, and take advantage of the convenience of zero-configuration access. It is simple for visitors to use and does not require any technical support.
Access control
Access control by profile depending on the context : employees and guests do not of course have the same rights. What is more, the applications that a person will have access to depends on his/her profile: guest (partner, customer, service provider, …) or employee and the context : time, place.
*Decree 2006-358 dated the 24 March 2006:
Any organisation providing Internet access must be equipped to retain all session information (date of connection and identity of the user) and traffic information (sites and pages visited) in such a way as to be able to subsequently provide this data in the event of a criminal investigation. If the organisation is not able to comply, the legal representative may be subject to a 75,000 € fine and 5 years' imprisonment.
